Out-of-home advertising
Improve targeting & make campaigns more effective
How much is an ad worth without a proven audience?
Knowing how many people had the opportunity to see an advert is fundamental to indicating its exposure, and estimating its impact
Using rough approximations of impressions ultimately leads to overcompensating, or underutilization
Specialized applications might make campaign deployment easy, but fall short in accuracy

A better way to gauge effect
Get the quantitative—not qualitative—value of a space
More accurate counts of Opportunity-to-See (OTS) at high granularity give you a realistic understanding of performance
Multiple exposure
Traditional Opportunity-to-See (OTS) measures tend to underestimate real exposure; our Impressions Multiplier model gives a more accurate idea of who came in view, and who stuck around
Choose the tech you need
With support for both passive Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), our solution provides the flexibility needed to meet your operating conditions.
Identify when people have seen an ad more than once
With the ability to determine unique visitors, we help you highlight the chance of repeated exposure to viewers
Maintain a competitive advantage
Our enhanced data is only available to advertisers/networks using our sensors, keeping it private & proprietary

Reliable indoors
BlueZoo technology gets you a clearer picture of an audience, identifying people in places other tech struggles with

Ironclad privacy
Maintain 100% compliance with GDPR standards while collecting accurate data, minimizing liability

Filter out the noise
Distinguish between people within direct viewing range of an advert vs. outsiders just passing by
Don’t leave money on the table
With high-granularity visitor counts down to a 15-minute grain, you can eliminate the usual hand-waving estimation others use to get a true understanding of who saw an advert
“Digital Out of Home audience trading is now borderless, and omnichannel campaigns increasingly represent a significant portion of our revenue growth. We are delighted to partner with BlueZoo to expand our audience measurement and ensure our customers are getting 100% of promised impressions.”

Audience measurement
Get accurate, intelligent statistics for pricing advert impressions
Owners of out-of-home advertising media, like JCDecaux, use BlueZoo to measure consumer impressions. BlueZoo sensors are mounted on “street furniture” and report foot traffic, giving advertisers confidence that prices are justified.
Foot traffic on the pavement varies by time of day, and day of week. BlueZoo tracks visit and visitor counts at a 15-minute grain. But advertisers value unique visitor reach, as well as impressions. To calculate unique visitor reach and unique visitor recurrence, BlueZoo uses advanced analytics to maintain a rolling sum of unique visitors over the course of an advertising campaign, whether a day, a week, a month, or a custom period.
Measurement of unique visitors makes it possible to measure recurrence frequency. BlueZoo measures the recurring visits of unique visitors and can report them daily or at multi-day intervals. In the following chart, recurrence is aggregated into bins of 1, 2, 3, and 4+ visits during the campaign period.

Kiosk and booth traffic
A smarter approach to track visitors and interaction
Measuring the foot-traffic of pop-up stores, of sales booths in an airport duty free area, or of a brand demo point in a larger retail store can be difficult because of the lack of physical boundaries around the location. There is further complexity because the location is not owned by the BlueZoo customer.
The BlueZoo sensor is deployed at the center of the space where visitors are to be measured.

BlueZoo then counts the number of visitors in three ranges: inside the inner perimeter; inside the outer perimeter, and beyond the outer perimeter. Stores want to maximize the share of the outer zone visitors that stop and spend time in the store to make a transaction. This is the calculated foot traffic “conversion ratio” between shoppers and the overall location traffic.
BlueZoo technology distinguishes between passersby and true shoppers by measuring dwell time. For example, if a shopper spends less than 1 minute striding through the inner zone to catch a flight in an airport, they might be considered a passerby, rather than a true shopper. By excluding passersby who are not true potential customers, BlueZoo customers can calculate true sales conversion rates: sales transactions per true shoppers.
A similar approach can be used inside a store to measure digital signage impact and define the conversion potential based on the overall area traffic. Using BlueZoo to measure visit counts and dwell times inside the inner perimeter versus outside, it’s easy to measure the stopping power of signage, whether print or digital.
